Let us know how we can help you manage available funds for your jurisdiction.
The Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) program provides $25 billion to assist households unable to pay rent and/or utilities due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Funds are provided directly to states, territories, local governments and Native American tribes to administer to eligible households through rental assistance programs. Eligible households may receive up to 12 months of assistance, plus an additional three months if needed dependent on the availability of funds.
Applications for emergency rental assistance may be submitted by either a tenant or a landlord on behalf of that tenant through programs established by grantees. In general, funds will be paid directly to landlords and utility providers. If a landlord does not wish to participate, funds may be paid directly to the tenant.
How can Emergency Rental Assistance program software help?
ERA program software can help states and other grantees streamline the application, approval, distribution and audit process. Cloud-based emergency rental assistance software provides the accessibility and transparency that grantees need to more effectively disburse funds to help households in need of rent relief.
What is Rent Relief?
Rent Relief is software built to help state and local agencies manage and distribute ERA program funds. With Rent Relief, tenants can apply for coronavirus rent relief online and view their application status in real time. Landlords can also apply on behalf of their tenants. Agencies can more efficiently process applications and distribute emergency rental assistance funds.
Rent Relief software works from anywhere to give you complete transparency into funds available, disbursed and in-process. It’s simple to use, increases efficacy, decreases fraud and improves the audit and review process with easily accessible analytics and reporting.
